USPE + AMC SSR Institutional Stainless Roller Racks

USPE + AMC SSR Institutional Series — Lab & Forensic configurations. Institutional-grade stainless steel roller storage, built in the USA. Specified as the SSR Lab Series for hospital pathology, university anatomy and research labs, and as the SSR Forensic Series for medical examiner, coroner and forensic morgue facilities.

11 ga (0.120 in.) stainless steel is standard; other thicknesses and finishes are available. Every SSR rack has maintenance-free black nylon rollers and tray bumpers. Racks are configured by tiers and columns (bays), and capacity = columns × tiers. Several racks mounted together form a rack bank, for example a 7-column rack bank with 5 tiers holds 35 trays. Racks take Standard 23 in., Medium 27 in. or Bariatric 30 in. body trays. The standard clear opening between tiers is 16 in. (17½ in. tier pitch), which leaves 14⅜ in. of usable height above the tray floor. Custom spacing is available.

• SSR-NR: high-capacity stationary system with 12 black nylon roller assemblies per column, run as an open rack or an open rack bank. Enclosed option: stainless side panels and doors over the SSR-NR roller racks.
• SSR-MS: modular stationary system, from one column up to a rack bank of any length, on adjustable leveling feet.
• SSR-PM: mobile single-column rack with 6 in. braked casters.
• SSR-PC: mobile full-conveyor rack, end or side loading.
• SSR-TR: transport-lock rack with quick-release tray pins and side rails for vehicle and surge use.
• SSR-LIFT: stainless roller-top cadaver scissor lift (16.5–56.25 in., 500 lb design load) for tiers 2–3. For tier 1 and tiers 4–6, use the USPE hand-crank cadaver lift (6–103 in.; 125 in. with forks reversed). The fully powered hydraulic cadaver lift is also available.

Stainless body trays are quoted with the rack: 78 in. L × 2¾ in. deep, in Standard 23 in. (18 ga), Medium 27 in. (16 ga) and Bariatric 30 in. (14 ga). Each tray has a rolled full-perimeter rim that rides on the black nylon rollers, tapered walls and square welded corners. A single drain is centered at one end, with the floor V-pressed to the drain, a 1¼ in. stainless drain stub and a plug on a stainless bead chain. Each end wall has two slotted hand-holds. Tray options, all quote only: drain and plug or flat bottom, body straps, and custom width, length, gauge or finish. Load rating is confirmed at quote. Nylon roller replacement sets, tray guides and leveling feet are also quoted with the rack. Everything in this series is quote-only, and purchase orders are accepted. Custom widths, heights, tier counts and column counts are confirmed on a written quote drawing.
