Terms and Conditions

Website and Purchase Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to use of this website, quote requests, product purchases, custom orders, freight coordination, financing references, service requests, procurement communications, and related transactions with American Mortuary Coolers and Funeral Source One.

By accessing or using this website, submitting a form, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to every policy listed in the Complete Terms of Sale & Policy Library below.

Website Use

By using this website, submitting a form, requesting a quote, placing an order, applying for financing, or communicating with American Mortuary Coolers, the user agrees to follow these Terms and Conditions, all posted policies, and any written terms included with quotes, invoices, order confirmations, financing documents, freight documents, service communications, or manufacturer documentation.

Quotes, Pricing and Availability

All pricing, specifications, promotions, lead times, freight estimates, product descriptions, product availability, custom build details, and financing references are subject to change without notice. A written quote or invoice may include additional terms that control the specific order.

Customer Responsibility

Customer is responsible for confirming product size, door clearance, electrical requirements, plumbing requirements, drain requirements, site access, freight delivery needs, local code requirements, state board expectations, and installation obligations before purchase.

Freight, Delivery and Risk

Many products ship by freight carrier. Customer must inspect shipments at delivery, follow carrier rules, note visible damage on the delivery receipt, photograph concerns, and report issues promptly. American Mortuary Coolers may coordinate third-party freight as a service, but carrier claims and delivery rules remain subject to carrier policies.

Commercial Delivery Only

American Mortuary Coolers delivers to commercial business locations only. Residential addresses are automatically routed to the nearest freight terminal. See full Commercial Delivery Only Policy.

Custom and Special Orders

Custom equipment, special-order products, built-to-order coolers, autopsy equipment, casework, export-packed items, and configured systems may have different cancellation, return, lead-time, deposit, and warranty terms. Confirm details in writing before ordering.

Returns — Refrigeration Products

No returns under any circumstances. All refrigeration products purchased on or after January 1, 2026 are 100% non-returnable under any circumstances. All coolers, racks, lifts, and related equipment are non-returnable — no exceptions.

In the rare event American Mortuary Coolers elects, in its sole discretion and in writing, to honor a return in a special case, the return is subject to a 25% restocking fee, and all shipping charges — both the original outbound freight and the return freight — are the full responsibility of the original purchaser. No return is authorized without prior written approval. See the full Returns and Cancellations Policy.

Refrigeration Startup, Drainage & Dealer Status

Packaged refrigeration systems are manufactured by Heatcraft Refrigeration Products LLC; American Mortuary Coolers acts as an authorized dealer and product representative and does not manufacture these systems. Customers must completely read all startup instructions before operating any packaged refrigeration system. Drainage, condensate routing, P-trap preparation, code compliance, and site readiness are the responsibility of the purchaser and installer unless included in writing by AMC. Damage resulting from improper drainage, site conditions, or failure to follow the installation manual is not a product defect and is not a warranty claim. AMC accepts no liability for a customer's failure to properly start up packaged refrigeration units and is not responsible for loss or downtime under any circumstance. See the Packaged Refrigeration Manuals & Startup Guide.

Legal Venue

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute related to website use, purchases, payments, freight, service, warranty, or related matters shall be governed by Tennessee law with venue in the appropriate courts of Washington County, Tennessee, including Washington County, TN Sessions Court.
