Freight calculated at checkout
Freight charges are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and dimensions. Freight pricing fluctuates. Carrier rates, fuel surcharges, and market conditions change between quote and shipment; quoted freight is an estimate, and you are responsible for paying any additional freight charges that arise from rate changes, address corrections, or services added after booking.
No guaranteed delivery date; expedited service available
AMC does not guarantee an exact delivery date. All transit and delivery windows are estimates provided to the best of our ability and are subject to change without notice — see Lead Times & Expedited Service (LT-1.0). Expedited shipping is available for an additional cost with prior written authorization — call 1-888-792-9315 before ordering to request and confirm. AMC is not liable for lost business, lost calls, or other consequential damages arising from a delay, regardless of cause.
PATHOLOGY EQUIPMENT — ESTIMATED 10–12 WEEK PRODUCTION LEAD TIME
For sink stations, dissection tables, immersion tables, autopsy equipment, grossing stations, laboratory and pathology coolers, and other configured pathology equipment, the current estimated production lead time is 10–12 weeks after written order acceptance and receipt of required specifications, approvals, and payment. Freight transit time is additional. This timeframe is an estimate, not a guaranteed ship or delivery date, and may change with configuration, materials, supplier schedules, and production capacity.

An exact or guaranteed date applies only if expressly stated in a separate written agreement signed by an authorized officer of American Mortuary Coolers. See Lead Times & Expedited Service (LT-1.0).
Forklift and offload equipment
A forklift or equivalent offload equipment may be required for larger items — walk-in cooler panels, condensing units, crated tables, and multi-body coolers. Where required, offload equipment is at the expense of the consignee/receiver. Liftgate service, where available and suitable, must be requested before shipment and has weight and size limits.
Accessorial charges
Any accessorial services added to a shipment — liftgate, residential delivery, limited access (schools, churches, military bases, funeral homes classified as residential), inside delivery, appointment scheduling, redelivery, detention, or storage — are the responsibility of the buyer if added, whether requested by you or required by the delivery site's conditions.
Site readiness
The receiver must provide access for a 53-foot tractor-trailer, an adult to inspect and sign, and labor/equipment beyond the curb. Missed appointments and returned shipments incur carrier fees billed to the buyer.
Protective shipping film on cooler panels — customer responsibility
All walk-in cooler panels and metal skins ship with a protective barrier film applied to finished surfaces during manufacturing. Removal of this film is the customer's responsibility and must be completed promptly after delivery. Prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat can allow the film adhesive to bond permanently to the panel surface, causing staining or damage. Film adhesion damage is not covered under warranty and is not eligible for return or exchange — it is not a freight or shipping claim.
