Operators use long-handled stoking tools and rakes to reposition remains during cremation, then strip and block brushes to sweep the hearth into the ash pan. Heads attach to the handle with a 1/2 in threaded or 3/4 in set screw coupling.

Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the right coupling?
Check the end of your clean-out handle. A threaded end takes the 1/2 in threaded head; a plain tube with a set screw takes the 3/4 in set screw head.
Do these brushes fit B&L and Matthews handles?
We offer a dedicated 12 in strip brush for B&L crematories and the standard heads fit most threaded or set screw handles used on Matthews, IEE and American Crematory units.
