High-value freight equipment attracts payment fraud. Order verification protects cardholders, protects honest buyers, and keeps stolen-card losses out of everyone's pricing. This page explains how American Mortuary Coolers & Equipment screens, verifies, and — when necessary — refuses orders.

Order screening and verification

Every order is screened before fulfillment. Orders showing risk signals — billing/shipping mismatch, failed address or card-code verification, unusual rush requests paired with delivery changes, or freight-forwarder anomalies — may require identity confirmation before anything ships. Verification is typically a phone call to the number on file with the issuing bank, confirmation of billing details, or bank verification of the payment. We reserve the right to hold shipment pending verification and to cancel and fully refund any unshipped order we cannot verify. Verification protects the cardholder as much as it protects us.

No mid-transit changes without verification

We do not reroute freight, change delivery addresses, or release equipment to a different recipient after shipment without written verification from the original purchaser on the original contact channels. Reroute requests on in-transit freight are a known theft pattern for stolen-card equipment fraud, and they are refused by default.

Wire, ACH, and banking security

Our banking instructions are confirmed by phone at 1-888-792-9315 before first payment — and we will never change payment instructions by email. Any email claiming our account details have changed is fraudulent: do not pay it, call us. Likewise, we will never ask for your full card number, one-time passcodes, or passwords by email or text.

Stolen cards and criminal fraud

Confirmed fraudulent orders are cancelled and reported to the card networks and the issuing bank. We refer criminal fraud to law enforcement, including the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), cooperate fully with investigation and prosecution, and pursue civil recovery where available.

Government and institutional orders

Purchase orders are verified against the issuing agency or institution before fulfillment. Procurement teams can start at Request a Quote, Request W-9, or our Procurement & Corporate Compliance overview.
