NOMIS Publications reported in August 2010 that Funeral Source One was established in March 2009.

The cooler line became American Mortuary Coolers, with MyMortuaryCooler.com as its online store. A 2020 trade article dates the cooler business to 2012, when FS1 mortuary coolers were already on the market.
