Funeral-service trade publications provide a dated record of equipment announcements and advertising. This archive links the original material for American Mortuary Coolers and Funeral Source One and identifies the type of evidence in each entry.
NOMIS Publications: early business record
The August 2010 issue of Funeral Home & Cemetery News, page B1 includes a supplier announcement stating that Funeral Source One was established in March 2009 by T.R. Ward. The record supports the historical timeline; it is not a certification of products currently offered.
NOMIS Publications: equipment advertising
The March 2012 issue, page A17 contains a Funeral Source One advertisement showing FS1 mortuary coolers alongside other equipment. We label this as advertising. Product prices, specifications and delivery statements in that historical advertisement are not current offers.
Connecting Directors: company announcements
The September 2011 announcement documents Funeral Source One’s equipment range and convention promotion. The April 2020 press release identifies AMC’s Cook County project. These records are useful business-history sources, but should not be described as independent testing or product endorsements.
What institutional buyers should verify today
Trade history is one part of supplier research. For a current purchase, verify the exact model, selected options, clear inside and outside dimensions, load ratings, power requirements and delivery responsibilities. Ask for the model’s current documentation when a specification is material to your facility’s review.
Keep association memberships separate from publication appearances. Neither membership nor a published announcement establishes that a particular product satisfies every local code or operating requirement.
Continue your research
Review the company history, media source library and authority and buyer trust hub. For current equipment rather than archived advertisements, browse the equipment catalog or request an itemized institutional quote.
