Compliance is the buyer's responsibility

Regulations governing decedent storage, prep rooms, autopsy suites, and crematories vary by state, county, and accrediting body. Compliance guarantees are your responsibility. In some cases, a standard product configuration may not meet your state's minimum requirements — for example, capacity-per-case minimums, temperature recording, alarm, or ventilation rules. Verify your jurisdiction's requirements before ordering; our team can configure equipment to spec when requirements are provided in writing with your RFQ. We make no representation that any product meets the requirements of a specific jurisdiction unless stated in writing on your quote.

Ambient room temperature — read before installation

Mortuary refrigeration is engineered for indoor, climate-controlled spaces. Condensing units are rated to perform with ambient room temperatures generally not exceeding 85°F (29°C) with adequate ventilation and clearance around the condenser. Installation or operation in garages, sheds, unconditioned warehouses, direct sun, or rooms above rated ambient forces the system to run beyond design load — causing high head pressure, compressor strain, temperature drift, and premature failure.

Warranty void conditions

Warranty coverage is void where failure results from: operation above rated ambient temperature or without required clearance/ventilation; outdoor or unconditioned installation not approved in writing; improper electrical supply; installation not performed to the published specifications; unauthorized modification or refrigerant service by non-EPA-608-certified personnel; or failure to perform routine maintenance (coil cleaning, condensate management). See the Warranty Disclaimer & Refrigerant Safety Notice.
