Process Explained: Mandatory Acceptance of Terms
By selecting and purchasing any installation service option at the time of your order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below. If you do not accept these terms, we are not able to offer any level of installation service.
Installation Service Levels
Service levels are offered as an additional fee. Pricing may vary by location and project complexity.
Option A: Ground Delivery This service covers the delivery of your palletized unit to your facility.
-
Access: The delivery site must be directly and safely accessible for a 53-foot truck and trailer, allowing for an easy entry and exit.
-
Unloading: Our team will unload the shipment and place it on the ground in a single, accessible location.
-
Limitations: If the site is not directly accessible, our driver will pull over to the nearest safe location, and you are responsible for unloading the panels with our driver's assistance. We are not able to shuttle panels a long distance from the truck to the building with this level of service.
Option B: Panel Installation Service (Most Popular) This service includes ground delivery plus the full assembly of the walk-in box.
-
Scope: Our team will unload all materials and professionally assemble the cooler/freezer panels, door, and floor (if applicable).
-
Completion: The service is complete upon successful assembly of the box structure, a final site cleanup, and a quality inspection sign-off with our team lead.
-
Exclusions: This service does not include final electrical or refrigeration connections, which must be completed by your own licensed professionals.
Option C: Turnkey Installation This is our comprehensive, start-to-finish white-glove service. Please see the "Select Your Delivery & Installation Method" option on the product page for more details. This option requires a custom quote and confirmation prior to ordering.
Site Requirements for Panel Installation (Option B)
To ensure a safe and efficient installation, you, the customer, are responsible for guaranteeing the following site conditions are met prior to our team's arrival:
-
Level Surface: The installation site for the cooler/freezer must be a flat, level concrete surface. You must disclose any unlevel surfaces upfront. Our team is not responsible for leveling or site prep.
-
Clear Access Route: The path from the delivery truck to the final installation site must be clear of all obstructions.
-
Minimum Door Clearances: Our team requires a clear path through the following minimum door sizes:
-
Exterior Access Door (e.g., garage/bay door): 8' tall x 8' wide
-
Interior Walk Door (single): 80" tall x 50" wide
-
Unsafe or Unsuitable Site Conditions
The safety of our team and your staff is our number one priority.
-
Right to Refuse Service: Our team lead reserves the absolute right to refuse and cancel the installation upon arrival if the site is deemed unsafe or does not meet the requirements outlined in these terms.
-
Unsuitable Site Fee: If installation is canceled due to unsafe/unfit site conditions, or if our team must leave because the site requires changes, a fee of 50% of the total installation and shipping cost will be charged, with no exceptions. The unassembled unit will be left at the safest possible location for you to handle.
-
Undisclosed Obstacles: If an unlevel surface or other site issue was not disclosed upfront and requires more staffing upon arrival, you will be charged 50% more for the installation service.
-
Limited Access: In the event the walk door clearance is insufficient, we will drop the panels as close as possible for your team to handle. We accept zero responsibility for damage to panels in this scenario, and payment for the service is due in full.
Pricing, Lead Times & Cancellations
-
Pricing & Surcharges: All installation options are additional fees. We reserve the right to increase these fees, with prior notice, in the event of unforeseen increases in the cost of labor, fuel surcharges, or other travel-related expenses. We will notify you as soon as possible of any such change.
-
Lead Times: Our current lead times vary, but freezers and coolers are usually within a 4-8 week lead time. We do offer express "quick ship" options, with availability as soon as the same day depending on region and staffing. We make no guarantee of lead times due to daily economic changes.
-
Cancellation Fees: If a cooler or freezer order is canceled, a 10% fee applies. If the order is canceled after production has begun, a 50% fee may be charged.
