Refund policy

All approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Any cancelled orders that are more than 50% through production, at the discretion of American Mortuary Coolers, will also be charged a 20% restocking fee.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at service@mymortuarycooler.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You will be responsible for paying shipping costs to return your item.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to the original method of payment, whether by credit card (to the original credit card used) or by check in the amount of the purchase price, less the 20% restocking fee and original shipping fees. Any cancelled orders that are more than 50% through production, at the discretion of American Mortuary Coolers, will also be charged a 20% restocking fee. You will receive the credit within the timeframe set out by your card issuer’s policies.


Shipping

You will be responsible for paying shipping costs to return your item. Original order and return shipping costs are non­refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund. Ensure that your return shipment has a tracking number option.


Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You have up to 30 minutes to inspect the shipment inside and out.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like all custom order products (such as built-to-spec racks, built-to-spec coolers, embalming tables, special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
