USPE Disposable Embalming Jacket: questions and answers
How many jackets come in a pack?
Each pack contains 10 jackets of one color and one size. Choose color and size above; order additional packs for other colors or sizes.
Do quantity discounts apply across colors and sizes?
Yes. Every pack of USPE disposable embalming coats and jackets counts toward the quantity tiers, so you can mix colors, sizes and both lengths in the same order.
Are these jackets fluid-resistant?
Yes. The three-layer SMS (spunbond-meltblown-spunbond) fabric resists splash and light fluid contact. For heavy fluid exposure, pair with a fluid-impervious apron or sleeve covers.
Can they be reused?
They are designed for limited use. They can be laundered or autoclaved up to five times; replace any jacket that is torn, soaked through or visibly contaminated.
Are they latex-free?
Yes. The fabric, knit collar, knit cuffs and snaps are latex-free.
Should I choose the coat or the jacket?
Choose the knee-length coat when you want lap and thigh coverage over scrubs or street clothes. Choose the hip-length jacket for removals, dressing and casketing, or any task where a shorter, less restrictive cut is preferred.
