American Mortuary Coolers believes in complete transparency. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing. By purchasing from American Mortuary Coolers, you agree to adhere to every term below. All Sales Are Final

All coolers, racks, lifts, and other products are non-returnable — no exceptions. Once you accept your product, you have accepted it.

Refrigeration Systems — No Returns Under Any Circumstances

All refrigeration systems — including all Heatcraft and Turbo Air packaged (self-contained) systems and all two-piece (split) systems, condensing units, evaporator coils, and compressors — are non-returnable under any circumstances, with no discretionary exception. All refrigeration products purchased on or after January 1, 2026 are 100% non-returnable. Compressor and refrigeration sizing is the purchaser's responsibility; improperly sized systems are non-returnable.

If You Have an Issue

If you experience any issue with your product, we will do everything we can to remedy it. We are not responsible for any downtime and/or loss incurred from a non-functioning unit.

Chargebacks

Any chargeback initiated through a card payment will result in legal action from American Mortuary Coolers, with venue in the Washington County, Tennessee General Sessions Court.

Restocking & Shipping Fees (When a Return Is Approved)

In the rare event AMC elects, in its sole discretion and in writing, to honor a return of a non-refrigeration product as a special accommodation, the return is subject to a 25% restocking fee, plus all original outbound freight (including freight absorbed in free-shipping orders), all return freight, crating, insurance and handling, and any inspection or repackaging costs — all the full responsibility of the original purchaser. No return is authorized without a written RMA.

Delivery Acceptance

Refusing a shipment does not cancel your order or reverse the charge — it is treated as a discretionary return under the fee schedule above. All freight must be fully inspected, including inside the packaging, before signing. Signing the delivery receipt accepts the shipment as-is, where-is and releases the carrier from all claims; undocumented damage has no claim.
