Can a training suit be used for chemical protection?
No. Training suits are clearly labeled as training suits and are for drills, donning and doffing practice and exercises only. Use a Tychem 10000 Level A suit for live chemical work.
Why buy a training suit?
Teams can rehearse donning, doffing, SCBA fit, communication and decon lines without using a certified Level A suit, which lowers the cost of regular mass fatality and hazmat exercises.
Front or rear entry?
TK586S is front entry; TK587S is rear entry with an expanded back. Match the trainer to the operational suit your team will wear.
