What does SFR mean?
Secondary flame resistant. The garment will not ignite and will not add to burn injury in a flash fire when it is worn over appropriate primary flame-resistant clothing. It is never a primary FR garment on its own.
How many are in a case?
4 coveralls of one style and size per case.
Is it suitable for bloodborne pathogens?
Yes. It meets ASTM F1670 (blood) and ASTM F1671 (viral penetration).
Who needs SFR?
Teams that face chemical splash and an intermittent flash-fire risk at the same time, such as crematory maintenance, fuel and gas-line incidents, industrial-scene recovery and hazmat response.
