Print it, post it in the prep room, and log every quarterly inspection — dated, printed name, and signed.
1. Table top (Formica®): inspect the surface completely for cracks, chips, bubbles, delamination, or seam separation; verify the surface is flat, smooth, and properly secured to the frame; disinfect and clean after each use with approved products. The top is warranted 1 year from date of service in a controlled temperature environment and with proper inspection records. 2. Folding mechanism: inspect hinge assemblies for wear, cracks, or damage; ensure the mechanism operates smoothly and locks securely in the open position; check all pivot points for wear and proper alignment; lubricate moving joints and pivots as recommended. 3. Bolts, screws & fasteners: inspect all for tightness; verify all fasteners are present, secure, and corrosion-free; tighten loose hardware with appropriate tools — loose fasteners cause instability and premature wear. 4. Caster wheels: inspect for chips, cracks, flat spots, or wear; keep treads clean of debris buildup; confirm smooth roll and free swivel; check bearings and axles. Casters and all soft components are warranted 1 year from purchase. 5. Wheel locks: inspect engagement and release; locks must hold wheels securely; test each lock individually; report loose or damaged components — proper lock function is critical to safe, stable operation. 6. Height & leg supports: inspect leg supports and telescoping tubes for wear, dents, or damage; ensure legs lock securely in height position (if applicable); check braces and support bars for tightness and alignment. 7. Frame & structure: inspect frame, welds, and tubing for cracks, bends, or damage; verify structural integrity and stability; check for corrosion, rust, or loose components. Metal frame and structure are warranted 2 years from purchase against failure under normal use. 8. Cleaning & disinfection: clean and disinfect after each use with approved products; avoid harsh chemicals that damage the top or frame; wipe all surfaces including underside, hinges, and casters; dry completely to prevent moisture and corrosion.
Never store a Formica® top dressing table in a cooler — it will bubble and cause major issues to the top. Never store the table in a garage or walk-in cooler environment; extreme temperatures and humidity damage components and finishes. Store in a clean, dry, indoor environment when not in use.
⭕ WARRANTY COMPLIANCE — PARTS ONLY. NO LABOR.
Table top (Formica®): 1 year from date of service, in a controlled temperature environment and with proper inspection records. Casters & all soft components: 1 year from date of purchase. Metal frame & structure: 2 years from date of purchase against failure under normal use.
All warranties are parts only — no labor — unless otherwise specified in writing by American Mortuary Coolers. Any labor services are provided exclusively at AMC's discretion. Quarterly safety and maintenance checks are required during the warranty period; full, dated, fully verified inspection records — signed by the authorized person conducting each check — must be maintained and produced for any warranty claim. Failure to perform required maintenance or maintain records voids warranty coverage. Full terms: Warranty Policy (WR-1.0).
⛔ Remove from service: any table showing structural cracks, a delaminating or unstable top, failed leg locks or wheel locks, or unsafe operation must be immediately removed from service, tagged “DO NOT USE,” and kept out of service until repaired and verified safe — per the mandatory protocol at the Maintenance Center. Continued use of damaged equipment is misuse at the facility's own risk under our Product Liability, Assumption of Risk & Release and TP-1.0.
