Why do I need reclaimed R-404A in California?
Under SB 1206 (effective Jan 1, 2025), California prohibits the sale of bulk HFCs with GWP over 2,200, and contractors must service existing equipment with reclaimed refrigerant. R-404A's high GWP means the reclaimed cylinder is the compliant option.

Is reclaimed as good as virgin?
This reclaimed R-404A is processed and certified to AHRI-700 purity for reliable service of existing systems. For non-CA/NY orders, the virgin R-404A cylinder is also available.
