Wall-Mounted Grossing Station from U.S. Pathology Equipment. A wall-mounted grossing station for pathology and histology labs that need a full grossing workflow in a smaller footprint. Plumbing and electrical are factory-installed and the station ties into building utilities.
What is a pathology grossing station?
A pathology grossing station is a ventilated stainless steel workstation where surgical and autopsy specimens are examined, measured, photographed, sectioned and placed in cassettes before tissue processing. Downdraft or backdraft airflow pulls formaldehyde vapor away from the user, and most stations add a sink, formalin dispensing, lighting, camera and LIS mounts.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a histology grossing station and a tissue grossing station?
They are the same workstation. Histology labs use the term when grossing feeds tissue processing and embedding; tissue grossing emphasizes specimen handling.
Why is the Wall-Mounted Grossing Station quote only?
Each unit is built to order for your room, utilities and caseload. A formal quote gives your procurement office an exact price with lead time and freight to your dock.
Do you accept purchase orders and bids?
Yes. We accept purchase orders, provide a W-9, handle tax-exempt certificates, offer net terms to qualified institutions and respond to bids, RFQs and RFPs with specification sheets and submittals.
Is it compatible with Mopec, Mortech or Thermo Fisher equipment?
Yes. We match dimensions, trays, heights and utility connections to the equipment you already run. Send the existing model number with your request.
