Crematory Thermocouple Insert, 12" / 18" / 24" from American Mortuary Equipment (AME). A replacement thermocouple insert (element) that slides into the existing protection tube. Replace the insert alone when the tube is still sound.
What does a crematory thermocouple do?
A thermocouple measures primary and secondary chamber temperature and sends the reading to the cremator controller, which cycles the burners to hold temperature and meet emissions limits. A complete assembly has an insert (element), a ceramic protection tube and a head.
