Product details
Pedestal Autopsy Table, Elevating & Rotating from U.S. Pathology Equipment. A single-pedestal 304 stainless autopsy table with downdraft ventilation as standard. The elevating model adjusts from 34½″ to 46½″ to fit each pathologist, and the top rotates manually 180° in either direction for full access to every side. Choose Elevating or Non-Elevating in the selector above.
What is an autopsy table?
An autopsy table is a stainless steel examination table used in hospital morgues, medical examiner and coroner offices and forensic labs for post-mortem examinations. Its sloped or perforated top drains fluids to a sink or drain, and models range from fixed four-leg tables to pedestal, elevating and rotating units, often with an integrated sink, faucet, spray hose and hydro aspirator.

Frequently asked questions
What height range does a pedestal autopsy table cover?
The elevating model adjusts from 34½″ to 46½″. The non-elevating model is built at a fixed height you specify.
Can it handle bariatric cases?
Yes. Wider tops and higher-capacity bases are quoted for bariatric caseloads.
What are autopsy tables called?
Autopsy tables are also called morgue tables, post-mortem tables, necropsy tables (veterinary) and, when mobile, autopsy carts or trolleys.
How much does an autopsy table cost?
Price depends on size, height adjustment, sink, ventilation and plumbing. Mobile carts cost less than pedestal tables with integrated sinks and downdraft. Request a quote for an exact price with freight.
What weight capacity do autopsy tables have?
Standard tables handle typical adult cases, and bariatric models are built for heavier cases. We confirm the rated capacity on your quote.
Why is the Pedestal Autopsy Table, Elevating & Rotating quote only?
Each unit is built to order for your room, utilities and caseload. A formal quote gives your procurement office an exact price with lead time and freight to your dock.
Do you accept purchase orders and bids?
Yes. We accept purchase orders, provide a W-9, handle tax-exempt certificates, offer net terms to qualified institutions and respond to bids, RFQs and RFPs with specification sheets and submittals.
Can you review fit with our existing equipment?
Send equipment drawings, tray dimensions, transfer heights and utility connections with your request. Fit and included components are confirmed for the selected configuration before ordering.

Pedestal autopsy table model reference
Comparing a Mortech 1036-48 or 1036-48-MG pedestal autopsy table? Review USPE-AT-PED against your original drawing: its published 104 × 32-inch top, 34½–46½-inch elevating height range, manual rotation of 180 degrees in either direction and 750 lb rating align closely with the 1036-48-MG specification sheet. Confirm pedestal footprint, rotation clearance, drain, utilities and selected ventilation in your RFQ; this comparison does not establish manufacturer identity or a drop-in replacement.
Compare this model in the autopsy workflow
Identify the elevating or non-elevating version before preparing the equipment schedule. Review the listed 32-inch top width and allow separately for rotation, operator access, loading and utility routing; tabletop size alone is not the operating footprint.
Use the autopsy and mortuary table comparison to review actual models by layout and listed width. Coordinate supporting carts, storage racks and AMC vault cooler storage as separate equipment interfaces; being linked here does not establish compatible heights, fittings or supported loads.
For a multi-station project, continue with the forensic pathology equipment guide or emergency mortuary workflow. The accepted quote must identify the selected equipment, accessories, utility requirements and exclusions. Material names or drainage features alone are not infection-prevention or certification claims.

Anatomy lab and autopsy-room handling
Plan the table, lift and tray as one transfer workflow
A dissection table is one part of the handling route. Match the tray support, transfer direction, retaining stops and working height before pairing it with a lift or rack. A roller-equipped table can support a different transfer method from a fixed recessed top or an immersion tray; rolling transfer is not a standard feature on every model.
Low Profile Powered Crematory Lift
Review the low starting deck, raised working height and approved platform for a lower transfer point. This is a powder-coated lift, not a stainless-frame model.
