Request red 5-quart sharps containers with mailbox-style lids for a pathology laboratory, autopsy suite or mortuary work area. The referenced supply unit is a pack of two containers, with polypropylene bodies and lids intended for the selected container system.
Pack quantity and closure
One quoted pack contains two 5-quart containers. Quantity two means four containers. The reference lid uses a horizontal disposal opening and final closure features; follow the actual container’s markings, fill line and current manufacturer instructions. Never overfill, reopen, empty or reuse a closed disposable sharps container.
Placement and disposal review
Confirm the intended contents, point-of-use location, handling procedure and licensed waste service with the facility’s safety team. A wall bracket or cabinet is not included, and no universal bracket fit is claimed. Request mounting review separately if needed.
