Crematory Scissor Lifts

Crematory scissor lifts: manual hydraulic and battery-powered 1,000 lb scissor lifts with roller tops and optional scales for retort loading and body transfer.

Crematory Scissor Lifts

A crematory scissor lift brings the case to the retort door without anyone carrying the weight. The deck rises on a scissor frame to line up with the chamber, the cooler rack or the table. A roller top then lets the container slide across under control. Our lineup includes manual foot-pump hydraulic lifts and 12-volt battery-powered lifts, all rated to 1,000 lb or more on the heavy-duty models, with optional built-in scales.

Manual hydraulic or battery powered?

Manual hydraulic

A foot pump raises the deck and a release valve lowers it. It needs no charger or battery and has fewer parts to service. The Hydraulic Crematory Scissor Lift runs from 20.5" to over 80".

Battery powered

A 12V DC system lifts at the push of a button, which helps when you charge several cases a day. The Low Profile Powered Crematory Lift starts at 13" and reaches 69".

Low profile

A low starting height lets the lift slide under cots and the bottom rack tier, and makes floor-level pickup safer.

Sizing a lift to your retort

  • Measure the retort door sill height
  • Measure your lowest pickup height (cot, rack, floor)
  • Confirm the heaviest container you charge
  • Choose a roller top that matches the loading direction
  • Add an integrated scale if you record case weight
  • Allow turning room in front of the chamber

Racks, trays and lifts for your cooler

Storage capacity is set by the rack and tray system inside the cooler, and safe handling depends on the lift that serves it. These are the rack, tray and lift models buyers pair with our coolers most often. See the full mortuary lifts, racking systems and storage trays collection for every size and configuration.

Frequently asked questions

What is a crematory scissor lift?

It is a mobile lift with a deck on a scissor frame. It raises a cremation container or body to the retort door, a cooler rack or a table, so staff do not lift by hand.

What capacity do I need?

Most crematories choose 1,000 lb or more for bariatric cases. Our hydraulic, low-profile and HD 1000 lifts are rated at 1,000 lb or over.

Can I add a scale?

Yes. The Hydraulic Crematory Scissor Lift, Low Profile Powered Crematory Lift and HD 1000 MAX are available with an integrated scale option.

How low does a crematory lift go?

The Low Profile Powered Crematory Lift starts at about 12 inches. The hydraulic and HD 1000 MAX models start near 21 inches.

Is financing available?

Financing is available through Shop Pay, including 0% offers with approved credit.

Crematory operating supplies and equipment with a clear buying path

Identify the equipment and work being supported before selecting a replacement part or handling tool. Compare the listed application, dimensions and compatible models; a similar-looking part is not proof of fit or performance.

Use the current lifts, chargers and scales, clean-out tools and brushes, pans and urn loaders, thermocouples, safety equipment and apparel and parts, controls and refractory collections to narrow the requirement.

What information helps confirm a replacement part?

Include the equipment manufacturer, model, serial information where relevant, the current part identification and the application. Ask for compatibility review when the listing does not establish the match; do not assume a universal fit.

Can every system be purchased at a displayed price?

No. Priced catalog products retain their configuration and cart path. Quote-only equipment requires a written specification and price review before ordering; it is not a zero-dollar purchase.

Review current prices and purchasing units on the actual product cards and selected listings. For a mixed order or several locations, request an itemized funeral-supply quote with products, pack quantities and delivery ZIP codes; freight and special requirements are confirmed through the applicable buying path.

Continue through the broader funeral-home supply catalog, with written warranty terms and general customer support available before ordering.

Plan year-end equipment purchases around the actual equipment and timing

Review current catalog prices, choose the required configuration and separate the first purchase from later replacement phases. Build an itemized priced quote, or request a formal equipment quote with quantities, locations and your purchasing period. Request written price validity rather than assuming an unannounced future price increase or an additional sale discount.

Can Section 179 affect an equipment purchase?

For tax years beginning in 2026, IRS Revenue Procedure 2025-32 sets a maximum Section 179 expense deduction of $2,560,000, reduced when qualifying property placed in service exceeds $4,090,000. These are statutory limits, not a promise that this purchase or every buyer qualifies.

The IRS explains that property is generally placed in service when ready and available for its specific use. Eligibility, business use, taxable income and other requirements matter; ordering, financing or paying before year-end does not by itself establish a deduction. Confirm treatment and timing with your tax professional before relying on a tax benefit.

Use our 2026 Section 179 planning guide and illustrative calculator alongside the selected model's requirements. Confirm freight, installation responsibilities and availability separately; a year-end planning request is not a delivery guarantee.
