Product details

USPE-RGFCI | Red GFCI & USB-A Outlet Set | Quote Only

Request red electrical outlets as part of a USPE grossing-station or pathology-workstation configuration. The proposed set separates the self-test GFCI duplex receptacle from the duplex receptacle with two USB-A charging ports. Wall-plate selection, mounting location and circuit identification are reviewed with the workstation layout.

Red GFCI receptacle is the primary option

  • Red, self-test GFCI duplex receptacle with power indication, subject to final device selection.
  • Separate red duplex receptacle with two Type-A USB ports; USB-C, Power Delivery and charging wattage are not claimed.
  • Wall plate and mounting arrangement specified with the accepted configuration.

Requested electrical configuration

The reference configuration is 125 V, NEMA 5-15R, 2-pole, 3-wire, self-grounding, with back or side wiring. The reference distinguishes the receptacle configuration from a 20 A feed-through specification. Do not interpret feed-through capability as a 20 A receptacle face rating, an increased circuit rating or a USB charging-power rating. These are device-selection targets, not verified ratings of a supplied USPE assembly.

Backup-power identification

Specify which facility circuit, if any, is designated for backup power. Red color alone does not provide backup power and does not establish that a workstation is connected to an emergency circuit. Final identification and connection must follow the approved facility electrical design.

Station integration and limits

Provide workstation model, quantity, proposed outlet locations, facility voltage and circuit information, sink position, USB requirements and the required purchasing documents. Outlet location, enclosure, cable routing, grounding, protection and separation from wet-process areas require design review and installation by appropriately qualified personnel.

No universal retrofit, automatic station compatibility, hospital-grade certification, UL listing, NRTL approval or completed-station electrical compliance is claimed by this draft. Any required component certifications must be documented for the actual selected devices and final assembly.

Quote scope and documentation

Request the GFCI-and-USB set or GFCI-only configuration and the required quantity. Accessories, electrical service, facility wiring and installation are included only when expressly itemized in the accepted quotation. Device-specific installation instructions and GFCI test/reset instructions must match the supplied component; no generic wiring procedure is supplied here.

Review USPE grossing stations, wall-mounted grossing stations and USPE pathology equipment. These are planning routes, not claims of pre-approved fit.

Product photograph

A genuine photograph of the selected red devices is required before release. No competitor rendering, invented device geometry or unverified certification marking is used as a product photograph.
