Medical-Grade & Heavy-Duty Industrial-Grade Options

Medical-grade and heavy-duty industrial-grade options are available across TITAN Equipment for buyers prioritizing durable construction, cleanable surfaces and frequent-use service. Compare the frame, working surface, hardware and finish options listed for this exact model.

Standard materials and ratings remain as specified; upgrades are included only when selected. Check any nonstandard material or finish requirements before ordering.

A 500 lb-rated, standard-width removal cot with independently adjustable ends, wheel locks and a 24-inch maximum loading height.

TITAN G1 500 Standard Mortuary Cot: where it fits

The G1 500 is the Generation 1 standard cot in the TITAN line. Its 62 lb cot weight and 22-inch width give funeral homes a straightforward option for routine removals where a 24-inch loading height matches the vehicle.

Loading height describes the vehicle interface, not the maximum working height. Check the deck height, rear-door opening, cot-tray width and locking system before ordering. The load rating does not determine safe staffing for every removal.

Included equipment

2-inch black mattress pad, two 60-inch securement straps, basic black cot cover and product manual. Optional quilted textiles and transfer boards are separate items unless selected with your order.

Choose your first-call accessories

A slip-over quilted cover dresses the cot; a full-zip fabric pouch encloses it. Use the optional selectors above to choose the standard size, and check rail clearance and strap access. Choose a standard slider for the G1 500, 650 or 500T, or an oversized slider for the G1 1200 or 1250. Slider boards are for supported sliding transfers, not lifting or carrying.

Compare the TITAN 650 for a 600 lb rating, stainless steel and aluminum construction, and a 24.5-inch maximum loading height.

Compare TITAN mortuary cots or build your complete first-call setup. For help matching a cot to a vehicle, request a configuration quote with your deck measurements.

How do I choose between the model generations?

G1 identifies the Generation 1 standard and oversized cots. Compare the G1 500 with the newer 650, or the G1 1200 with the newer 1250. Compare the actual rated capacity, cot weight and loading height, not the model number alone.

Can a cot cover replace a containment body bag?

No. A decorative cover or reusable cot pouch is not a substitute for a body bag selected for the case. See body bags and disaster pouches separately.

What should I check for vehicle loading?

Measure the vehicle deck at the loading point and confirm the doorway, tray, loading system and restraint clearances. The 500T has a 32-inch vehicle loading height; the other manual models here load at 24 to 25 inches. Do not assume that every SUV or van has the same deck.

TITAN 500E Standard Mortuary Cot, 500 lb: affordable first-call equipment

Choose TITAN first-call equipment around the work your team performs, not just the advertised price. For the TITAN 500E Standard Mortuary Cot, 500 lb, review the listed load rating, operating dimensions and folded or loading configuration where applicable. Confirm the access route and any vehicle-loading requirements before ordering.

The TITAN range includes different transport configurations. Compare standard, bariatric, high-loading and powered models where those features are listed; do not assume that every stretcher has multi-level adjustment or powered assistance.

Compare the complete equipment selection

Check which restraints, mattress, handles or other accessories the listing specifically includes. Do not assume that a pouch, removal tray, vehicle fitting or separate accessory is included because it appears in a comparison photograph. Use the model's specifications to compare it with the other mortuary cots in the range.

For a replacement or multi-location order, request an itemized mortuary-cot quote with the selected model, quantities and delivery ZIP codes. The product price applies to the selected configuration; review freight, tax and any financing cost separately.

Mortuary cot, cart or trolley?

A first-call cot or stretcher and a facility transport cart are different equipment choices. If your team needs a cadaver carrier or trolley for movement within the building, compare the morgue carts and body-transport equipment and check the transfer height and tray compatibility for the selected model. Keep the first-call and facility-transfer requirements distinct in a multi-item quote.

Flexible payment options, with clear terms

Review the payment methods offered at checkout for your order. If a payment plan is available, its options and eligibility are shown by the provider. The equipment price and any financing cost are separate; compare the full payment terms before choosing a plan.

Enter payment details only in checkout or the payment provider's application. Use general customer support for product and order questions, not for sending full card numbers or sensitive financing information.

Plan the complete removal setup

Match the cot to the vehicle

Measure the loading deck and rear-door opening before choosing a model. Allow for the cot width, tray, restraint hardware and any side rails. A high working position does not mean the cot will load at that height.

Read the first-call cot selection guide

Choose textiles by function

A quilted cot cover slips over the cot. A zippered cot pouch provides enclosing access. Pick the size for your specific cot, then check strap routing and rail clearance. Body-bag containment is a separate decision.

Plan the transfer, not just the cot

Consider the route, thresholds, stairs, case weight, available staff and vehicle handoff. A slider assists a supported transfer; it is not a lifting board. Follow the equipment instructions and your team's handling procedures.

Professional handling and safety resources

OSHA recommends using appropriate lifting techniques, additional personnel and mechanical lifting devices when available for handling human remains. See OSHA's guidance for personnel who handle human remains. General OSHA guidance on ergonomic controls explains the role of lifting devices and work planning. These resources are not product approvals or substitutes for equipment-specific instructions.
