Kason 1145 Cam-Lock Hex Wrench, 5/16 in.
The Kason Panelock™ 1145 is the L-shaped, hardened-steel hex wrench that locks and releases Kason panel fasteners, the cam-action locks foamed into the edges of walk-in cooler, freezer and mortuary cooler panels. It is the same style of wrench packed in the hardware box with most walk-ins, and it is the one tool you need to pull panel joints tight during installation, relocation or a seal check.

How the cam locks work
Each panel edge carries a locking point with a hooked cam on one side and a strike pin on the mating panel. Insert the wrench through the small access hole on the panel face, seat it fully in the hex, and turn clockwise. The hook swings across the joint, catches the pin and draws the panels together, compressing the gasket for an airtight seam.

Finish the job
Once every lock is set, cover the access holes with Kason 1138 white finish caps or the chrome Kason 1147 finish cap for a clean, cleanable interior. Keep this wrench with the cooler so joints can be re-tightened after a move, a floor repair or a gasket inspection.

Is the model size the same as the interior size?
No. Nominal size identifies the model. The published exterior and usable interior dimensions are listed separately above when verified measurements are available. Allow additional room for the door swing, refrigeration equipment and service access shown on the final drawing.
Which choices must I complete before ordering?

Is an insulated floor included?
No. An insulated floor is optional and priced separately in every walk-in package. Review your slab and installation conditions before choosing a floor. Where a floor price is not published, obtain the confirmed item price before purchasing that option.
Which door does the optional ramp fit?
The external ramp is 36 inches wide and is priced from the current catalog in the builder. It requires an insulated floor and the 36-inch standard door. It is a separate add-on; selecting a floor does not automatically add a ramp. No internal or 48-inch ramp is offered in this configuration.
What should I check before installation?
Check the delivery and assembly route, slab condition, thresholds, ceiling height and equipment turning space. Review power, condensate handling and service clearance with qualified trades using the selected refrigeration system’s requirements. Do not infer electrical ratings from nominal room size.
Does the displayed price include every accessory?
