Genuine Kason 56 SafeGuard latch body, part number 10056L06021, a direct replacement for the latch that came standard on equipment using it.

This padlocking latch body has a light spring and a brushed chrome finish; the strike is sold separately. Its positive locking, heavy-duty design is built for hard commercial use, keeping doors shut to hold temperatures, and the padlock option helps prevent theft or tampering after hours.

The housing is high-pressure die-cast zinc with a 300 series stainless steel handle, and holes are drilled and countersunk for 1/4 in. screws. Overall it measures 11-1/8 in. long by 3-3/8 in. wide and ships at about 5.62 lb.
